Michelle Park graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and received her Bachelor of Arts in 2017. She initially majored in Biochemistry on a Pre-Med track but knew her true calling was in law after one year.
In 2023, Michelle graduated from Georgia State University College of Law, receiving her Juris Doctorate. While in law school, she took the opportunity to work in the Immigration Clinic for two semesters, where she received hands-on experience working with asylum applicants. She also volunteered at DECLASI, the Delaware Community Legal Aid Society and interned at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society in Gwinnett County during her summers.
Michelle is bilingual in English and Korean, and is currently in the process of learning Spanish. Michelle is a second-generation immigrant and the first person in her family to graduate from college. Michelle’s passion for immigration law comes not only from her parents being first generation immigrants, but from her experiences growing up in a Korean Church community, and her seeing the impact that immigration matters had on the lives of the community.
